About AAICE

A continental platform for the people building Africa’s next economy — and its next industry.

This conference is a flagship continental platform, held annually across different regions of Africa. It brings together entrepreneurs, incubators, accelerators and industrial manufacturers as key catalysts for Africa’s economic transformation, in line with the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Strengthening incubation and acceleration ecosystems has become a priority to stimulate enterprise development, foster industrial transformation, and generate sustainable jobs — particularly for youth and women.

The Industrial Fair brings together professionals from the sub-region and the rest of the world to showcase local, regional, and international expertise in the industrial sector. It serves to strengthen intra-regional trade and stimulate the country’s integration into both the East African Community (EAC) market and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Several large, medium, and small national and regional companies exhibit their products at the event. It also provides an opportunity for B2B and B2C meetings and exchanges, as well as various panel sessions that bring together industrial sector professionals and stakeholders, including policymakers, development partners, and universities.
